Technology expertise takes practice, time, and mentorship. There is rarely enough time in your workday or at a conference to acquire new technology skills. TIDE provides five days of mentoring and hands-on practice to hone your technology expertise. You begin technology projects during the week and then receive a year of individualized support to help  you complete your projects. Whether you have beginning or advanced technology skills—come enjoy a technology vacation while networking with other educators.

Full Registration - $800 ($650 for returning TIDErs)

Sign up for the entire week Sunday afternoon through Friday noon enrolling in 6 minicourses, participating in mentoring and networking with other developmental educators each day, engaging in evening hospitality including tubing the San Marcos river on Tuesday, shopping at the largest outlet mall in the U.S. and dancing in the oldest dance hall in Texas on Wednesday, and visiting San Antonio on Thursday afternoon for shopping, dinner and a river boat ride on Thursday evening.
Includes TIDE conference registration, transportation to and from the airport if needed, transportation to and from the hotel, all meals, materials, evening hospitality and post-conference support.

Individual Course Registration - $150 per mini-course

Attend only a few sessions over one to three days, taking from one to five minicourses. If you enroll in two or more minicourses, you can participate in mentoring and networking with developmental educators as well as join in the evening hospitality on the day(s) you participate.
Includes TIDE conference registration, transportation to and from the hotel, materials, post-conference support, but no meals or evening hospitality. Meals (kickoff dinner, lunch, dinner) and evening hospitality can be purchased separately by contacting Dave Caverly.

Lodging- approximately $650 (for five nights)

This is at a rate for one or two people per room for five nights. We can arrange for roommates if you wish. A hot, continental breakfast and free high-speed Internet access is included in the room rate. Arrangements have been made with the Hampton Inn and Suites located one mile from campus. Click on the link to make a reservation. When you call, tell them you are with the TIDE group and they will give you a special rate. We will provide transportation to and from campus.

Scholarships

CRLA offers three - $1000 scholarships to reduce the costs of attending TIDE for those who have been members of CRLA for at least one year. Go to the CRLA Scholarship Information page to download the scholarship application and come join us. NADE also has made a $1000 scholarship for TIDE. Continuing Education Credit
